TOPDON UltraDiag Moto for professional motorcycle diagnostics

UltraDiag Moto is an 8-inch diagnostic tablet for workshops servicing motorcycles from different manufacturers. Its detachable VCI connects to the motorcycle's diagnostic socket through the appropriate cable and communicates with the tablet over Bluetooth or USB. A 1280 x 800 screen and 10,000 mAh battery support clear data viewing during workshop use.

Diagnostics, active tests and maintenance

• Read and clear fault codes, retrieve control-unit information and monitor live data from supported systems.
• Command supported injectors, throttle valves or cooling fans to check the component's response.
• Save reports and record or replay data for comparison before and after repairs.
• Use the diagnostic-socket and cable library to identify the required connection.

Maintenance procedures include oil-service resets, throttle adaptation and ABS bleeding where the motorcycle supports them. Available special functions can include component adaptation, variant coding and bank-angle sensor calibration. These are not promises of universal control-unit programming. Diagnostics and actuator tests are also different from key programming.

How it differs from ArtiDiag Moto

TOPDON lists more than 80 brands for UltraDiag Moto and 15 for ArtiDiag Moto. UltraDiag Moto has an 8-inch screen and a wireless VCI; ArtiDiag Moto has a 5-inch screen and a wired connection. Both models provide active tests. The main differences are connection type, screen size, breadth of the brand list and adapter package, not simply whether the tool reads fault codes.

Documented package and ordering checks

The official UltraDiag Moto manual lists the tablet, VCI, 29 diagnostic cables, USB cable, power adapter, quick guide and carrying case. The cable inventory includes BMW 10-P and DUCATI 4-P adapters, for example. Compare the actual supplied package with the motorcycle's connector requirements. TOPDON specifies one year of free software updates. Check the intended procedure by make, model, year and system; a matching physical connector alone does not establish support.
