TOPDON TC001 Plus is a USB-C thermal attachment for inspecting installations, underfloor heating, electronics and mechanical assemblies. Alongside its native 256 x 192 infrared sensor, it has a separate 1 MP visible-light camera. Image fusion helps relate a temperature anomaly to a particular component or surface outline.

Measurement and analysis

Refresh rate is 25 Hz and the measurement range is -20 to 550 °C. Visible-camera resolution is not IR sensor resolution. TopInfrared and TCView desktop software support image analysis and temperature-trend review. For meaningful comparisons, observe the same component under similar operating conditions; a colour in a thermal image does not establish the severity of a problem by itself.

Plus model compatibility

This model is intended for compatible Android phones and tablets and Windows computers, not iOS. Check support against the exact device model because TOPDON lists exceptions.
