TOPDON TB6000Pro - smart battery charger and tester

(VAT Excluded)

TB6000Pro combines a mains-powered charger with battery testing through a Bluetooth app. It charges compatible 6 V and 12 V lead-acid batteries and 12 V lithium batteries at mode-specific currents. Battery health testing and automatic before-and-after charging reports are restricted to 12 V lead-acid batteries, not every supported charging chemistry.

Description

TB6000Pro: charging with a meaningful battery assessment

TOPDON TB6000Pro is designed for users who want to follow both the charging process and battery condition. Standard programmes are available on the mains-powered charger itself. Bluetooth connectivity to the appropriate iOS or Android app adds monitoring, testing and reports. It is neither an engine jump starter nor a tester for every battery chemistry it can charge.

Charging programmes and compatibility

The stated capacity range is 5–240 Ah, with charging current selected to suit the battery's limits. Supported charging types include 6 V and 12 V lead-acid WET, AGM, GEL, EFB, MF and CAL batteries, plus compatible 12 V lithium batteries, including LiFePO4. The six preset programmes separate voltage, chemistry and purpose.

  • 12 V NORM: up to 6 A for supported lead-acid batteries.
  • 6 V NORM: up to 3 A, not 6 A.
  • 12 V SMALL: up to 3 A for smaller lead-acid batteries, up to 50 Ah according to the manual.
  • 12 V LITHIUM: up to 6 A for compatible lithium batteries.
  • 12 V REPAIR: up to 1 A for lead-acid repair, never for lithium.
  • 12 V SUPPLY: a default 13.5 V output limited to 6 A or 81 W.

What the app and tester add

Battery testing and Smart Charging with automatic before-and-after reports work only with 12 V lead-acid batteries. They do not cover lithium or 6 V batteries. Testing assesses charge level, battery health and cold-cranking capability in CCA; the app also supports cranking and vehicle charging-system tests. Testing requires the battery clamps, not a ring-terminal harness.

The app provides charging schedules and voltage/current monitoring, with customisable parameters in expert mode. The nine-stage lead-acid programme includes maintenance. Comparing results before and after charging helps decide whether further investigation is needed, but does not guarantee recovery of an ageing battery.

Safe application

Follow the battery manufacturer's instructions, provide ventilation and keep ignition sources away. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries. The 6 A supply does not replace a high-current programming power source. Read the official TB6000Pro page and PDF user manual for the applicable limits.
