TOPDON Phoenix Plus 2 is a diagnostic tablet that communicates with the vehicle through a separate Bluetooth-connected MDCI interface. The tablet can remain at your working position while the interface stays connected to the car. This model supports CAN-FD, diagnostics across supported systems, active tests and ECU coding. It brings fault-code assessment, live-data analysis and checks after repair into one workshop tool.

Move from the initial scan to repair verification

• Read and clear trouble codes in supported systems such as the engine, transmission, ABS and airbags.
• Inspect control-unit relationships through topology mapping and follow operating values in graphical live-data views.
• Command supported actuators with active tests, interpreting their response against the required test conditions.
• Use a software catalogue of over 41 maintenance functions, including oil service reset, electronic parking brake service, throttle adaptation, steering angle calibration and ABS bleeding.

AutoVIN helps identify compatible vehicles, while VAG guided functions assist with supported service procedures. Data can be recorded for later analysis and up to four traces combined for comparison. Saving the initial findings before clearing codes gives the workshop a useful reference for checking the repair.

Coding and the exact Plus 2 platform

ECU coding and online coding provide supported configuration and adaptation operations; they are not a universal ECU firmware-programming service. Protected FCA operations depend on the appropriate security-gateway authorisation. Check each required function against the vehicle, control unit, installed software and licence.

Phoenix Plus 2 has a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, Android 10, a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage and a 12600 mAh battery. Supported expansions include BTMobile ProS battery testing, TC001 thermal imaging, an oscilloscope and ADAS. These require suitable additional equipment, with ADAS also requiring the relevant software activation; they are not built-in measurement capabilities of the tablet alone.
