TOPDON CarPal is a compact Bluetooth adapter for car owners who want to inspect fault codes and vehicle information on a smartphone. The app accesses supported electronic systems and provides information for further investigation. A fault code alone does not identify which part needs replacing.

CarPal compares up to four live data streams, records readings, shares reports and checks emissions-monitor readiness. Six service categories cover oil service, TPMS, EPB, BMS, throttle adaptation and DPF regeneration where supported. Its battery monitoring uses voltage readings; this is not a substitute for testing actual starting capability with a dedicated battery tester.

The software permits up to three vehicle brands to be linked simultaneously. A compatible phone, app and device activation are required.
