TOPDON BT600 12 V Battery Tester with Thermal Printer

139,00 €

(VAT Excluded)

TOPDON BT600 combines 12 V lead-acid battery testing with cranking and charging-system checks for 12 V or 24 V vehicles. It has a 3.5-inch colour screen, a 1.8 m test lead and an integrated thermal printer. Results include estimated CCA, battery health and charge level. It is neither a charger nor an Ah-capacity tester.

Description

TOPDON BT600 for battery and vehicle-system checks

BT600 suits workshops that need a readable result display and a paper report immediately after testing. Its 3.5-inch colour screen makes readings easier to compare, while the 1.8 m test lead provides more flexibility when positioning the instrument beside a vehicle. The integrated thermal printer documents findings without a separate printer.

Three checks with distinct voltage limits

  • Battery health: 12 V lead-acid batteries, including flooded, AGM, GEL and EFB types.
  • Engine cranking: 12 V and 24 V systems, with cranking voltage and duration.
  • Alternator and charging system: 12 V and 24 V systems, including loaded voltage, unloaded voltage and ripple.

This is BT600, not BT600 Plus. Battery-health assessment does not cover 6 V or 24 V batteries or lithium batteries. Support for 24 V vehicle systems does not expand the separate battery-test voltage range. The instrument is not a charger, programming power supply or jump starter.

CCA, charge level and battery condition

Conductance analysis estimates CCA and starting ability alongside voltage, internal resistance, state of health (SOH) and state of charge (SOC). The nominal battery range is 100-2000 CCA, with standards including EN, DIN and JIS. The selected rating and standard must match the battery label. SOC describes charge level, whereas SOH estimates condition; they are not interchangeable. The 30-220 Ah input for the GB standard is not a measurement of actual remaining capacity through discharge.

Reports and equipment

Data review retains the latest result of each test type, not a multi-vehicle archive. Printing uses 57 x 25 mm thermal paper. The manufacturer's standard package contains the tester, test cable with clamps, Mini USB cable, carrying bag, manual and three paper rolls. The Mini USB port is for device updates.

Interpret results alongside test conditions and vehicle symptoms: charge level, temperature and contact quality can affect the assessment. Follow the safety instructions, wear eye protection and work with adequate ventilation. Keep clear of ignition sources, hot surfaces and moving parts.
