This MK3 emulator is intended for electronic steering-column locks in compatible PSA Peugeot, Citroën and Opel applications from 2011. The relevant configuration combines an ESCL system with FT-CAN communication; the vehicle brand or production year alone is not enough. This version includes locking sound and is intended for professional repair after diagnosis of the lock fault.

The emulator replaces the electronic role of a compatible ESCL unit. It does not restore the mechanical bolt or physically lock the steering column, and its sound does not confirm mechanical locking.
