OBDSTAR P50 for professional airbag-module service

OBDSTAR P50 is intended for professional workshops repairing supported SRS control units. It provides module identification, diagnostic fault-code reading and clearing, and supported crash-data reset procedures. EEPROM or FLASH reading and writing depend on the exact module version and available function.

Preparation and module selection

P50 has a 5-inch touchscreen and an English-language software interface. Part-number searching and connection diagrams help technicians select the correct application. Before ordering, compare the complete SRS module number, processor type and required procedure with the coverage list. Vehicle make and year alone are not sufficient to establish compatibility.

Included equipment

• 1 OBDSTAR P50 main unit.
• 1 main cable.
• 1 P004 adapter.
• 1 P004 jumper cable.
• 1 12 V / 2 A power supply.

The CAN FD adapter is optional and is not included in this kit. The supplied P004 supports the applicable bench connections. The specialist MP001 programmer and RH850/V850 accessories are not part of the listed equipment. Additional software authorizations for instrument-cluster and service-interval functions are arranged separately and are not included in this offer.

One year of updates from registration is included. Further updates are subject to annual renewal terms. This is the P50 model, not P50 G2.

Responsible workshop use

Work must be carried out by trained professionals with the owner's authorization and in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's repair instructions. Clearing crash data does not repair deployed airbags, seat-belt pretensioners, damaged sensors or wiring. Complete the repair and checks of the entire restraint system before returning the vehicle to use; a successful reset does not establish that the system is safe.
