OBDSTAR D800 Marine A+B is the configuration for workshops working on supported personal watercraft and outboard engines. A identifies personal watercraft and B identifies outboards. Do not confuse this package with C+D for inboards and generators, or with Full, which combines all four categories.

Diagnostics across two application categories

On supported control units, D800 offers identification information, fault-code reading and clearing, live data, freeze-frame information and operating hours. These functions help relate a recorded fault to operating conditions instead of relying on the code alone. Actuator tests, settings and coding depend on the model and software coverage; their availability is not identical across all engines.

Measurement recording and playback help compare conditions during a diagnostic session. OBDSTAR also describes interactive wiring diagrams and technical information for D800. The original D800 with the A+B package

The official D800 launch identifies an 8-inch display and the APK 3.0 diagnostic platform. This is not the newer MarineMaster: that model's specifications and current coverage do not automatically describe the D800 being offered.

Before ordering, provide the make, model, year and serial number of the engine or personal watercraft, plus a photograph of its diagnostic connector. Confirm the required procedure, A+B activations and suitable connection lead. A catalogue of marine adapters does not establish this package's supplied contents.
