OBDSTAR D700 Marine B Diagnostic Scanner for Outboards

OBDSTAR D700 Marine B for Outboard Workshops

D700 B is designed for workshops maintaining outboard engines from several manufacturers. OBDSTAR lists Evinrude, Hidea, Honda, Johnson, Mariner, Mercury, Parsun, Selva, Seven, Suzuki, Tohatsu and Yamaha for this configuration. The brand list does not establish support for every engine, year or control system.

Configuration B Compared with A

B is primarily the outboard package, while A focuses on jet skis. The manufacturer also lists Honda and Yamaha jet ski support for B, but that does not make it a complete substitute for A. Check the particular brand, model, operation and required connection cable.

Useful Diagnostic Information

• Identify control units and read or clear fault codes.
• View live data and freeze-frame information according to system coverage.
• Record and replay parameters to compare engine operation.
• Read operating hours, perform actuator tests and access selected service settings where supported.

Functions such as maintenance-notification settings, instrument configuration or idle adjustment depend on the engine and software. Their inclusion in the D700 platform description does not establish availability on every outboard.

Original D700 and Required Equipment

This is the original D700 Android tablet with a 7-inch, 1024 x 600 capacitive touchscreen, RK3128 processor, 16 GB storage and Wi-Fi. It supports 12 V, not 24 V, and is not designed for expansion to inboard diagnostics. D800 capabilities do not transfer to this model.

Before ordering, provide the exact engine designation, year, control-unit details and a connector photograph. Confirm the main cable, required adapters, delivery contents, software package and update terms. Accessories for one brand do not establish connectivity with every other brand. General marine update announcements do not establish the functions or licences included in configuration B.
