OBDSTAR D700 Marine A for Jet Ski Workshops

D700 A is a multi-brand diagnostic scanner intended primarily for workshops maintaining personal watercraft. OBDSTAR lists Sea-Doo (BRP), Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha for this configuration. This is the original D700 with a 7-inch display, not a D800 or a different product generation.

Choosing Between A and B

Configuration A focuses on jet skis, while B is primarily for outboard engines. The manufacturer also lists Honda and Yamaha outboard support for configuration A. This does not mean that the entire B package is included: the software, connector and required operation must be checked for each engine.

Diagnostic Work

• Read control-unit information and read or clear fault codes on supported systems.
• View, record and replay operating data using text or graphical displays.
• Access freeze-frame information, read operating hours and perform actuator tests where supported by the selected system.

A 1024 x 600 capacitive touchscreen, RK3128 quad-core processor and 16 GB storage form the hardware platform of this Android device. Wi-Fi provides access to online services and available software downloads.

Before Ordering

Provide the make, model, year, engine or control-unit identification and a photo of the diagnostic connector for a compatibility check. Confirm the main cable, brand-specific adapter, exact package contents and software update terms. A brand name does not establish support for every model, and a cable alone does not add software functions.

D700 supports 12 V, not 24 V, and is not designed for expansion to inboard diagnostics. General marine update announcements do not establish that every advertised function is available in your package.
