MPPS V16 for engine ECU servicing

MPPS V16 is a programming interface for reading and writing supported engine controller memory. It is intended for professional ECU repairs and calibration work. Remapping programs are available separately or in an agreed package; specify whether you need this software when ordering.

Check the ECU reference

• Selected Alfa Romeo applications: Bosch M1.5.5, ME7.3.1, EDC15C5, EDC15C7, EDC16C8 and EDC16C39.
• Selected Audi applications: EDC15, EDC16U1/U31/U34, MED9.1, MED9.5.10 and Siemens PPD 1.X.
• K-Line, CAN, UDS and BOOT access depend on the particular controller.

Check support for the exact engine, ECU and software combination. Some operations require specific preparation and accessories; an OBD connection does not mean every procedure can be performed through that socket.

Hot-start problems on VW, Audi, SEAT and Škoda vehicles require diagnosis of the cause first. ECU data work is appropriate only when it addresses the identified fault and matches the controller. Before purchasing, send Car Diag the ECU reference and intended operation, and confirm package contents. Carry out work with the owner's authorization while preserving safety and emissions functions.
