FLEX as a Platform for Control-Unit Work

Magicmotorsport FLEX is a modular platform for reading and writing supported engine and transmission control units. The base offering is the hardware kit; software packages are selected separately. This lets the equipment match the workshop's actual workload without confusing a complete accessory kit with activation of every protocol.

Hardware and Additional Configurations

• FLEX main module and FlexBox connection module.
• Connection leads and adapters, power supply and carrying case.
• Separate ECU OBD/Bench, TCU or broader Master and Slave packages.
• Optional Lenovo ThinkPad computer or Dell Latitude 7212 tablet, according to the agreed configuration.

OBD, Bench and Boot modes depend on the activated package and specific control unit. An engine ECU package should not be treated as equivalent to a transmission controller package. Before choosing software, check the unit identifier, vehicle and type of read or write operation required.

Master and Slave Are Different Workflows

Master allows work with unencrypted files that can be edited using suitable software. Slave handles encrypted files and is linked to a selected Master account. These are different operating arrangements, not interchangeable names for the same package. Confirm the software package, Master/Slave arrangement and whether a computer is required before ordering. Programming requires professional preparation, a backup and stable power.
