AUTEL APB112 as a smart key service accessory

APB112 is a smart key simulator that extends compatible AUTEL MaxiIM equipment. It captures transponder-related data from the induction coil and simulates supported key chips within tablet-led procedures. It is intended for workshops and automotive key specialists working with the vehicle owner's authorization. It is neither a standalone programmer nor a replacement key to hand over to the customer.

What it adds to existing equipment

• Data collection for supported 46 and 4D transponders.
• Supported chip simulation and assistance with key-chip data analysis.
• Emulation of selected Toyota smart keys in the 4D and H families.
• Support for certain Toyota/Lexus service functions when all keys are lost.

Match the tablet and programmer

AUTEL lists compatible IM508 and IM608 series tablets in XP400 or XP400 PRO configurations. Its documentation specifically names XP400 for 4D transponder functions; the IM508's XP200 alone is not an equivalent setup. Confirm the exact tablet, programmer, software version, vehicle and key type before purchase.
